undefined Child and Adult Care Food Program?

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) plays a vital role in improving the quality of day care home and day care centers. The CACFP helps to subsidize the cost of food for day care homes and centers allowing these day care homes to serve meals that are more nutritious. Participating homes and centers receive reimbursement for the meals they serve and all children receive the same benefits.

For a day care home or center to be a part of the Child and Adult Care Food Program they must be licensed with the Kansas Department of Health Environment or another government organization.
