Servicemembers' Group Life Insurance Traumatic Injury Protection (TSGLI) is a rider under Servicemembers' Group Life Insurance (SGLI). It provides insurance payments of up to $100,000 to members who suffer certain serious traumatic injuries in service.

All active or previously active service members who have SGLI coverage are automatically covered by TSGLI.

TSGLI coverage is automatic with SGLI coverage. To apply to receive a TSGLI benefit payment, complete SGLV 8600, "Application for TSGLI Benefits."
