Servicemembers' Group Life Insurance (SGLI) Disability Extension
To qualify, you must have SGLI at discharge and be totally disabled at discharge. To be considered totally disabled, you must have a disability that prevents you from being gainfully employed, OR have one of several statutory conditions.

To complete an application, use Form SGLV 8715, "Application for Servicemembers' Group Life Insurance Disability Extension."
