National School Breakfast and Lunch Program for Colorado


The School Breakfast Program (SBP) and National School Lunch Program (NSLO) are federally assisted meal programs that provides nutritious, low-cost or free breakfasts to students each day.

SBP and NSLP are provided at approved public and nonprofit private schools and residential child care institutions (RCCI). They are administered by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Nutrition Unit, and reimbursement is provided by the U.S Department of Agriculture (USDA).

To be eligible for these benefit programs, you must be a student enrolled in an approved school or RCCI.

In order to qualify, you must have an annual household income (before taxes) that is below the following amounts:
