The Oregon's Weatherization Assistance Program is designed to help low-income residents save fuel and money, while increasing the comfort of their homes. Weatherization Assistance Programs provide conservation services, health and safety repairs, heating system repair and replacement, base-load measures, and energy education to eligible households.

To be eligible for this benefit program, you must be a resident of Oregon. Preference may be given to:

  • People over 60 years of age
  • Families with one or more members with a disability
  • Families with children (in most states)

In order to qualify, you must have an annual household income (before taxes) that is below the following amounts:

*For households with more than eight people, add $10,760 per additional person. Always check with the appropriate managing agency to ensure the most accurate guidelines.

Under DOE guidelines, you are automatically eligible to receive weatherization assistance if you receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF).
