Households apply first for the Fuel Assistance Program (LIHEAP) to become eligible for the Weatherization Assistance Program. One application serves both programs. Locate the Fuel Assistance Agency where you should apply.

Or, you may call the HEATLINE at 1-800-632-8175 to learn where to apply. Call to schedule an appointment to complete the application. Households will be required to verify their income, household characteristics, and address.

If you are eligible for Fuel Assistance this year, then you are already on the waiting list for Weatherization services.
