RIte Care is Rhode Island's Medicaid managed care program that provides families on the Rhode Island Works Program and eligible uninsured pregnant women, parents, and children up to age 19 with comprehensive health insurance coverage.

To be eligible for this benefit program, you must be a resident of Rhode Island and a U.S. Citizen, National, or a Non-Citizen legally admitted into the U.S. You must be uninsured (and ineligible for Medicaid) and meet one of the following:

  • 18 years of age and under, or
  • Pregnant, or
  • A primary care giver with a child(ren) 18 years of age and under.

In order to qualify, you must have an annual household income (before taxes) that is below the following amounts:
