Nevada Check Up is the state of Nevada's Children's Health Insurance Program. It provides low-cost, comprehensive health care coverage to low income, uninsured children 0-19 years of age who are not covered by private insurance or Medicaid.

The Nevada Check Up program does not require the participants to pay co-payments for any services provided. The program does, however, charge quarterly premiums to the family. The premium is determined by family size and income.

To be eligible for this benefit program, you must be a resident of Nevada and meet all of the following:

  • Either 18 years of age and under or a primary care giver with a child(ren) 18 years of age and under, and
  • A U.S. Citizen, National, or a Non-Citizen legally admitted into the U.S, and
  • Uninsured (and ineligible for Medicaid).

In order to qualify, you must have an annual household income (before taxes) that is below the following amounts:
