Retirement Planning
Have you started planning for your retirement? Retirement planning is important for your future, regardless of your age. Census figures estimate only one of every 10 Americans is financially prepared to retire at 65. Did you know the Social Security Administration could help you with your retirement planning? You can use their online Retirement Planner and other useful tools, including Social Security benefit calculators, to estimate your monthly retirement benefit under different age and income assumptions. Also, you can find information on such topics as how some government pensions could affect your retirement benefits, and links to other retirement planning resources. GovBenefits.gov would like to highlight just a few Social Security benefit programs that everyone making retirement plans should know about.
