September 11th Victim Compensation Fund
This week as we mark the passing of one year since the tragic events of September 11th, 2001, we are reminded that many victims and relatives of victims are in need of assistance in navigating the sometimes-complex array of benefit options available to them.

To assist in this effort, we draw attention to a special U.S. Department of Justice website dedicated to the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund. The Fund is part of legislation passed by Congress and signed into law by President George W. Bush to provide compensation to individuals or relatives of deceased individuals who were killed or injured as a result of the terrorist activities of September 11, 2001. Developed to help you understand the nature of the Fund, the website provides access to important Fund documents.
