Program Description

The purpose of the program is to promote the stability and security of American Indian tribes/Alaska Native and families by protecting American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) children and preventing the separation of AI/AN families. Furthermore, the grants provide assistance to Indian tribes in the operation of child and family service programs.

General Program Requirements

In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be a Native American/American Indian or Alaska Native (AI/AN) and you or a family member must be enrolled in a federally recognized American Indian tribe or Alaska Native village.
