The BLM Volunteer Program is an opportunity for people to get involved and be a part of caring for our public lands. We have many kinds of volunteer opportunities, some for a day and others all year round.

Application Process

There is no required application process across the agency, but some volunteer positions require more information up front. All volunteers must complete a Volunteer Services Agreement before beginning their service with the BLM.
