Program Description

The Jobs for Veterans State Grants Program (JVSG) helps Veterans find good jobs by providing employment services at One-Stop Career Centers and other locations through funding for Disabled Veterans Outreach Program (DVOP) specialists and Local Veterans Employment Representative (LVER) staff. DVOPs and LVERs are state employees who provide employment services to the United States, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and Guam.

General Program Requirements

JVSG program funds support services to Veterans, including special disabled Veterans, disabled Veterans, economically or educationally disadvantaged Veterans, and Veterans with other barriers to employment (especially homeless Veterans).
