To be eligible for this benefit program, you must be Native American/American Indian and you or a family member must be enrolled in a federally recognized American Indian tribe or Alaska Native village.

To receive benefits through this program, you must check with the tribe in whose service area you reside or go to the patient registration office of the local IHS facility in person and present proof of your enrollment as a member of a federally recognized tribe.
