In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be a student pursuing a postsecondary educational degree or certificate. Hourly wages must not be less than the federal minimum wage. Students may be employed by: the institution itself; a federal, state, or local public agency; a private nonprofit organization; or a private for-profit organization.
To determine whether you are eligible to receive assistance through this program, you must first complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Schools use the information from the FAFSA to determine your actual financial aid package. Complete the form online. Your school will inform you how much money you may be eligible for that academic year.
