Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA)


The Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) program provides housing assistance for people living with HIV/AIDS. In some cases, HOPWA assistance will include chemical dependency treatment, mental health treatment, nutritional services, job training and placement assistance, and assistance with daily living.

To be eligible for this program, you must have been diagnosed with HIV/AIDS and meet certain income standards. Your local administering agency will determine if you meet the income eligibility standards for the program.
