To be eligible for this benefit program, you must meet all of the following:

  • Unemployed, and
  • Worked in Vermont during the past 18 months (this period may be shorter in some cases), and
  • Earned a minimum amount of wages determined by Vermont guidelines, and
  • Are able to work, available for work, and actively seeking work each week you are collecting benefits.
