Georgia law requires individuals to meet all of the following requirements to be paid benefits:

  • Earn enough money within the last 18 months to set up a claim: and
  • Separated from your last employer due to no fault of your own; and
  • Provide proof of your lawful presence in the United States; and
  • Be able, available, and actively looking for work each week you request a weekly benefit payment.
