Program DescriptionThe Weatherization Assistance Program provides funds to reduce the heating and cooling costs for low-income families and to ensure their health and safety. The services are for low-income households, particularly for the elderly, individuals with disabilities, and families with children. The program is administered by the Department of Housing and Community Development.
General Program RequirementsIn order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be a resident of the state of Virginia.
In order to qualify you must also have an annual household income (before taxes) that is below the following amounts:
