Program DescriptionThe Wisconsin Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) provides energy conservation services in homes occupied by low-income families to help reduce home energy costs. Work performed often includes insulation, repair or replacement of inefficient furnaces or other appliances, and installation of energy saving lightbulbs. Program operators also evaluate and may address certain health and safety issues in the home.
